Years of Experience
Ken McKay began his carpentry apprenticeship in 1984 with AV Jennings. Upon completing his apprenticeship, he worked as a subcontractor, estimator, and supervisor for Jennings until moving to Queensland in 1990. From 1990 to 1994, he operated as a subcontract carpenter in Gladstone before returning to Brisbane.
He initiated his studies to obtain his builder’s license, which he completed in 1998. The following year, he built his first house under the name Ken McKay Homes.

Since then, Ken has overseen the construction of various projects, ranging from architectural homes to bathroom renovations.
In 2023, he launched RBIQ, focusing on delivering reports that not only offer excellent customer service but are also engaging and informative for clients, making our reports worth reading.
